Flippin' insurance.

After April 30, I will likely be losing Medicaid due to an increase in oncome and will have to find some other insurance through our marketplace.
Looking at them, it seems like all of them are way out of my price range and wouldn't be something worth getting anyway! Some of the deductibles are in the absolute THOUSANDS, and most of them don't cover all of my providers so I'd have to either pay out of pocket or stop seeing them entirely.
You'd think an increase in income would be a GOOD thing, but not when it's all going to insurance every month and now you're likely going to be so broke from premiums and deductibles that you'll be using all of the extra cash to pay the insurance. :/
I see a therapist and group therapist weekly, a prescriber at least monthly and sometimes more if I'm not doing well, then there are the regular doctors like my PCP, gynecologist, eye doctor, neurologist, podiatrist, and allergist. I can't pay for all of those out of pocket while waiting for a deductible to be covered, and hope that most of them are covered.
I don't know what to do.

I hear you. Insurance in our country is rough to understand and difficult to manage. I'm not able to provide professional advice or anything but if you PM me, I might be able to make suggestions as a friend since I do work in insurance so know about what is available for paying bills and things. Just thought I'd reach out and let you know, you are not alone and there are supports out there.
