Yesterday at 3 in the morning I told my boyfriend about how I've tried to OD 4 times and that I'm very depressed and after I did he kept saying he loved me and he doesn't know what he do without me and all that jazz, but now hes asking what has gotten into me and saying how much this scares him. I feel that now that I've told him things w ill bee.... idk wierd. Should I have not told him

I had the exact same reaction with my boyfriend! It took a bit of time, but he accepted what I'd done and his 'I love you so much, I can't live without you' phases lessened quite a lot, even though they occasionally happen.

But what do you mean that he's asking you what's gotten in to you? I can see how it would scare him though.

Do you trust him? You must have done to tell him this, but do you still trust him now? Trust is the key. You can both work through his shock together and remember to communicate with him.

It was your decision to tell him, but look at it this way: he knows and he can help you if you ever feel like ODing again - which, hopefully, you don't.

I don't think things would be weird - this shows just how much you trust him and he - should - appreciate it.

Communication is the key - if it he keeps bringing it up and you don't want him too or he says something that you don't like - then tell him.

It take a lot to tell someone this and I am proud of your courage and impressed that you told him. Well done! You did great.

I'm here if you need me! Either by VM or PM! Hope I helped!

And she turns up the music, to drown out her life.

22/12/2014 was the last date I self-harmed. The longest I have gone so far is 1 year, 2 months and 5 days. This time, I hope I can give up! New record: 1 year 6 months! Yay!!
