Help - September 8th 2012, 07:35 PM

I have been feeling really really bad lately. I feel all alone, I've found that I have no feelings or emotions for my family, and virtually none for my friends. I struggle to find reasons to live and I'm often just thinking up ways of how I could kill myself. But deep down, I know I don't want to die. I have such big plans for my future, dreams that I wish will come true. Everything could be so great, and yet, I feel nothing. I always feel empty, sometimes I self-harm but I'm left with disgusting scars that I'm constantly aware of. I don't know really.. what can I do??

Hi darling.

I think that all you can is hold on to the future and your dreams, and focus on making your dreams come true, because (trust me) they *can* come true. Just get yourself involved in many things to make those dreams come true, and that you just enjoy doing. I've been feeling down as well, so I've been getting involved in as many school things as I possibly can.

If you need someone to talk to (vent, advice, or just random muffins that go on during the day , my Inbox is always open

Thank you, that was such a nice message I go through phases of feeling fine, normal, but then phases of wanting my life to end.. no idea why either

Hey there, sorry that you feel this way. I agree you should take part in activities to have your dreams come true. If you give up now, you might struggle more to get back in the game. Life can be lonely at times, but that's no reason to quit. Maybe you should try to talking to someone to understand why you are feeling this way. Sometimes you just need to stop, look around you, and ask yourself what's going on. If you're not sure, take a few steps backward. I think communication is the best. You're not alone. If you ever need to talk, pm me!
