Getting Hard to Care - September 25th 2012, 09:50 PM

I haven't cut in a month. It was my one slip-up in the past six months. I recently quit smoking as a way to just overall improve myself due to the fact that my physical ailments currently disable me from doing Jiu Jitsu, and there isn't much else I can do besides cut off my bad habits now that I am unable to work out like I normally do. So in other words, I have managed, and things have been looking up. But today in AP English we were discussing Transcendentalism and how "society will always have pointless rules and restrictions on things that shouldn't matter. This particular topic bothers me greatly because I take offense to how awful our society has gotten. Then a thought occurred to me.."Maybe I'm not meant for life." I haven't had a thought like that go through my mind since January 16, the day I overdosed and was hospitalized. And it scared me. Badly. And now all I want is a cigarette and a good cry. But I can't have either. It's upsetting..

There are always people who love you! Don't give up. You can do anything if you put your mind to it.
