Mindy McCready, country star, committed suicide. - February 18th 2013, 05:08 AM

I don't even know who she is, but I saw the headline on Yahoo and decided to click on it out of curiosity. Turns out, she shot herself. Sure she was on drugs and an alcoholic...but she was also depressed and losing her mind. And I know a LOT of people on here have felt like that at least once in their life.

After reading the article, I scanned through the comments. This one caught my eye:

Every human being has dealt with depression, you can let it own you and let it kill you or you can rise up, make sense of your life and live it without having it as company. You can't say the following day, or even a few minutes later that you made a mistake once you bit the bullet.. once you have.. that's it.

I think that THAT comment right there really explains why suicide is never a good thing. When you screw up in life...go through a bad break up...make a mistake...ANYTHING you do can be lived past and you can eventually bring yourself back up. But once the bullet goes through your brain, there's no taking that back. You can't live past that mistake or eventually bring yourself back up. You're dead. Gone. Zit. Zero. Bye-bye.

Just thought I'd share this...I'm bored. xD

That's horrible. I'm pretty sure she has two children too... Children, musical talent, and probably so many others in her life are gonna have to deal and grieve over her suicide wondering if they could've done something or if they were part of the reason. Suicide is never the answer... Hurts everyone around you.

I really hope her family and friends find piece somehow. R.I.P Mindy. Just generally sorry she felt so horrible that this was the only way out. =/

Thanks for sharing.

She was 1 of my favorite country singers growing up. This is so sad to hear, and her boyfriend just did the same thing last month. I really hope they finally have found the peace they sadly couldn't get here...may they RIP.
