Do you have this habit and how do you get rid of it? - April 12th 2013, 09:31 PM

I'm always waiting for people to come up and talk to me instead of going to them. It just always feels like if I have to do it, we must not be friends

Hello!
Yess I do.. A looottt...
I guess you just gotta go out there and talk to them.
I'm sure there's other people who get nervous or don't want to talk either.
Usually for me I feel like annoying or something, but ur not!
I really don't have a good answer for this but just letting ya know ur not the only one.
You can message me if you want!

Hey!

I do this, like all the time and think the same things. I guess when you're in that situation, you should just remind yourself that it isn't rational to think this way because other people can be really shy as well and you never really know the real reason behind them not coming and talking to you first. And just go up to them and start a conversation. Soon after getting to know them better then they might start approaching you more often. Start in little steps.

Hope I helped! Good luck.

No I am the same way too, especially with people I don't know very well. It just seems kind of awkward if they don't acknowledge you because you dunno if they want to be your friend or not...:/ So i get it, lol.

I don't know how to overcome it, really. All I can say is probably just hope for the best and approach them. if you know them as your friend, then they should appreciate that and if you don't know them well, maybe you'll get to know them better. And maybe they're thinking the same way you are
