what is the point in doing anything -

what is the point in doing anything when people will just say you have done little to begin with.
it's hard to exsplain. It seems like no matter how hard i try, it wont amount to anything or it wont be thought of as anything. people will just be exspecting more and more. It seems like other people's expsectations suck any enjoyment out of what i have now and want to do. and even when i do well i can't enjoy it, it feels out of place for me. Like i-myself- am not suposed to have achieved so much. I can't win either way.

Hey,
Sometimes life can drain us. It can discourage us to the point where we just can't please anyone. It's a horrible feeling and I can understand where you're coming from. Sometimes, when things get so overwhelming, we need to be able to take a step back and rest. You know just how much everything takes out of you, so only you know when you're ready to rest for a while. It's okay to treat yourself sometimes and recoup until you feel like you can begin again. Life isn't one huge sprint. It's a lot of little races that we need to rest in between if we're ever going to reach the finish lines.
It's okay to want someones approval, but sometimes people just don't understand what someone else is going through. In life, if we only ever live for others expectations - we'll never feel accomplished. The only person you should be trying to prove yourself to is you. You have the most say in your life, and only you understand yourself most. Therefore, live for yourself and your needs. If someone can't see you trying, that's okay because only you know if you are or not. You're allowed to disagree. The way you win is by continuing to keep going. That's a win in itself. When someone tells you they don't think you're trying or doing anything, take a step back. Look at the things you've been doing and then look at the goal you want to reach. If you can honestly agree with them, and you honestly respect the persons opinion, then maybe reconsider some things and try a little more. But either way, it sounds like you haven't quit and you should be proud. The hardest thing is learning to accept and be proud of ourselves, but once you can, no one can get in your way.
If you need anyone to talk to, let me know. We're all here for you and you're not alone in any of this. Take care and PM me if you need to talk.

Life isn't about winning. It's about living. Life is there to live it.
It's true. Everyone is going to expect more from you. Expectations suck that way.
Here's the rub.
Listen to those expectations, but don't live life for them. Live life for yourself.
I'm in the same boat you are. And I'm trying to remind myself that there's more to life than those expectations. There's only one life to live. It's better to live it up to the fullest that let the people's expectations get the better end of the stick.
You're stronger than that. I know it.
You can lose yourself. Everything. All boundaries. All time.
And just when the sweet confusion is so intense you think you're gonna die... you kind of do.
Leaving you alone in your separate body, but the one you love is still there.
That's a miracle.
You can go to heaven and come back alive. You can go back anytime you want with the one you love.

thank you for your help but i'm still a little confused
I want to do my best but i feel out of place if i do
example-- I've never tried hard at school. I got B+s while sleeping through class, i knew if i ever cracked open a book i could be top of my class. my friends would study for hours and get As. If i ever did better. things would be different, they would treat me different, not bad but different. I guess they just think differently of me.
it wasn't just school. I can tell you times when i left them literally speechless--but thats the problem--i can never tell if thats a good thing or a bad thing. standing out scares me
i want to do my very best. I really do. I just feel like i'm losing something if i do better than everyone else. it seems like someone like me isn't meant to be on top so i shouldn't do anything to be there.
but for once, i want to try being the best.
