I'm scared. -

I've been going through a low period for a couple of months now that just won't go away and I know I just have to hang in there but I'm so scared that things are going to feel this bad forever and that life will never be good again. Please tell me it will.
Don't take life too seriously; no one gets out alive anyway. Reach for the stars so if you fall you land on a cloud ~ Kanye West Mistakes are minimized by experience and experience is maximised by mistakes. |

It will, depression is a weird thing in life. It makes you feel like you're the worst person in the world, like you have nothing to live for. You have to be STRONG at those points, making sure you don't give into that. Life is always going to be tough, and it's always going to throw you bad days, just get through them as best as you can.
By posting this, you are trying to better the situation, thats the best solution, to keep fighting. Everything will be okay, things will work out. Don't let the bad days get you. Talk about the things that upset you, don't let them bottle up. Colours De Moi |

Hey there Hun,
I totally and completely believe that life will get better. I cannot tell you when but I believe it with all my heart. Life is such a beautiful thing but the low times can get in the way of us realizing that. As time goes on these low periods in your life will decrease and the good times will increase. Until you see that happen hang in there and reach out for help. Ask friends, family and teenhelp for support; it is times like these that support is the most important thing. Have you tried making a list of reasons to live? I do that when I am really struggling and it helps immensely. It makes me see that there are reasons to hang onto life and to keep going even in times of pain. If you can't think of reasons right off the bat maybe you could check out the reasons to live thread and get an idea.
