I'm scared - August 25th 2011, 04:52 AM

that's the best way to describe it
school starts in less than 2 weeks and everytime i think about it i get a panic attack.
im so freaked out i dont want to go back to the hell hole that is my school. i dont want to deal with the stupid ass teachers that don't give a shit, i dont want to deal with all those people that hate me
my school has SERIOUS issues, especially my grade. everyone hates eachother. honestly, death threats and knife fights are a daily occurrence.

end of last year a so called "friend" of mine found out about my selfharm, some stuff that was going on at home and a suicide attempt. i have NO IDEA how but she went and told the school councler ( who she sees for her own issues anyway)
this woman is the most anooying shit ever. she called me in during like the last week of school to "talk" she spoke to me as if i was 4. it was terrible. i ddint admit to anything and i feel like it was too late for her to do anything that late in the year, but im afraid she's going to call me in again this year

i dont want to go back

Hey

I can totally understand why you’re reluctant to go back to school, it sounds really difficult for you. Would it be possible to contact the school before you go back and explain to them your having a hard time at the moment, they’ll be able to make arrangements to help you feel more comfortable in the school environment The teachers have a duty of care of you, and therefore have a responsibility to meet any needs you have.

Perhaps talk to your friends about your concerns? I’m sorry to hear one of your friends found out about your problems, but maybe try and view as a good thing she told someone? At least it means there’s someone at school for you if you ever feel like you need anyone, there’s someone there to offer professional support. I appreciate you may feel she’s annoying, but maybe if you give her a chance she could actually help you? Would you consider seeing her again?

Try and stay positive, you have no choice but to go to school at the moment, make use of the resources and services they can offer you. If you need anyone, I’m here!

Look after yourself and take care

I've had the same situation happen to me. First of all, you need to have a conversation with that friend. Obviously she was trying to help, but you have to make her see you as having it under control (provided you do.) If she calls you in again this year, well..she can't MAKE you talk.
Sorry if I'm about to sound a bit rebellious, but I honestly had this happen to me.
You need to explain to the counselor that you do not need them, if they're that annoying. If you do need help, I'd stay with them, but in my case, they were treating me as though I were a lunatic.
But this year's a new year. New people. Just give it a chance before you freak out about it, okay?

That is strange! But at the end of the day that's your decision not this womens. If you think you'd feel better having spoken to her about it you do that! If you think it's best to leave it then do that too. Don't let someone tell you what to do, make your own decision
