why me?
why am i depressed... my life is to be considered good.. i have an amazing boyfriend my parents are still together i make good grades i live in a okay house im skiny and yet i hate the world, i hate being alive... my mom is sick & dying my dad is never home every one at home fights i do all the house work for no credit i feel like a bad girlfriend i think my boy friend misses ex- girl friends my appearance is nasty no matter how much i want to think possitivly.. i just cant negative thoughts are always on my mind.. i just cant beat them. lostchickapoo

Hey. It sounds like you're going through a lot. Is there a counseling service at your school/ would your parents be able and willing to take you to a therapist? (Or are you already seeing one?) Because for many people that's a good starting point for figuring out how to deal with tough times and bad thoughts.
Have you been diagnosed with depression? If you're clinically depressed, of course, it doesn't matter that your life would be considered good; if you're clinically depressed, you have a mood disorder (through no fault of your own) that probably requires treatment (in the form of either therapy or medication, maybe both). I hope you're feeling better now than when you wrote this! (Are you?) "He not busy being born is busy dying."

thanks for the advice
and yes. i have gone to the doctor once, he said i was clinically depressed. and if i had money i would go to a theripist, but i havent tried it and it made me feel a little better to talk, but it wasnt for very long lostchickapoo
