New puppy!!!!

So, we're going tomorrow to get my new puppy! We're driving an hour and a half to get her, but it will be so worth it!
She's a pug, and we're naming her Maggie. We already have a dog, he's a 5 year old chihuahua/pomeranian mix, but I'm HOPING they get along!

Yeah, she kind of spazzes out everywhere.
When she's on the lawn, she likes to attack leaves and chew on clovers. Ah yes, we got ourselves a smart one.

She's so funny though. And I think she's quite possibly the worst watchdog everrrr. I picked a pug because they're supposed to be friendly of people they know, but wary of strangers, and be decent watchdogs. And I wanted one to sleep with me at night to make me feel safe. But she likes everyone, and when she's asleep, nothing--NOTHING can wake her up. You can hear her snoring from across the room, and you can actually pick her up and move her to another room without her waking up. I think my cats make me feel safer at night, which is sad.

She's such a happy pup, and is thoroughly enjoying tormenting my other dog. He hates her with a passion, and has tried to bite her a few times because she chases him and steals all of his things. She also steals our blankets. Our shoes. Our socks. And pretty much anything she sees.

Gotta love puppies.

So cute! This is making me want a puppy! Hehe but soon I will have a cat so that will be okay. Congratulations on the new pet and good luck with everything. I have found that after a while the older dog tends to either start liking the new puppy(loving it even) or tolerating it. Usually they struggle a bit because this foreign baby is in their home messing with their stuff but after a while they get used to it. :P

Congrats again and hope to see more pics in the future!

Yeah, she's a cutie. We like her.
It's hard to believe she's already almost 3 months old! We've only had her for a month, but it seems like it's been forever! She's already 10 pounds and just about as big as our other dog! She's fitting in pretty well. She's still struggling with potty training, but she's already doing so much better than my other dog did at her age. (It took us a year to potty train my other dog!) She's SO HYPER tho, it's really insane. She likes to play bite, constantly, and while it was cute when we first got her, puppy teeth are sharp! And so now that's getting annoying, because she'll bite holes in our clothes trying to pull on us. She doesn't chew on furniture though, just shoes, toys, anything on the floor, and well, us. She also likes to chew on my other dog's face. Which annoys him to no end. He has like zero tolerance for her. He's almost 6, so he's pretty set in his ways and prefers to spend his days sleeping and eating. But Maggie thinks he's her own personal plaything. She chases him, chews on him, and steals his toys and sometimes will even push him out of his own bed. He's a good sport tho, God bless him, and tries to have self-control. He sometimes loses his patience tho, and lunges at her. She is such a brat with him, but is very subtle about it. Like, she'll see him walking across the room towards me and then she'll run over and sit in my lap and look at him like "she likes me more. now go away.". It's so sad! But my dog gets a bunch of extra goodies that she doesn't get. She doesn't get people food at all, and she's fed soley dry food. But my older dog, Chico, gets wet and dry food, and table scraps. He also gets a treat whenever she goes potty, because we don't want him to get jealous of all the praise she gets.
But yeah, puppies grow up quickly. I'm sure before I know it she'll be full-grown, potty-trained and be best friends with my other dog. I don't want to blink because I don't want to miss anything!
