[ASAP] Kittens Climbing stairs

my kittens are 10 weeks old, they can climb the stairs fine, but they play on them to much, should i let them learn? i should i restric the stairs like i have been?

First instance was (theres 1 bigger kitten and 1 smaller) the bigger one went up and down once, the smaller one went up started going down then decided to pounce on the bigger one like near the bottom of the stairs, and they both got a little scared.

second instance was when then bigger one tried to jump down onto a step from like the side of the upstairs landing he jumped (like an idiot) and then kinda slipped off the banister and then got his footings when he landed.

both these times shook them up a little.

just spoke to my mum she said "its easier with one than 2" i said "but they will alway wan to play with each other, they need to learn the stairs is not a play area.
Help ASAP


she can climb the stairs up and down, she just porved that to me, and i know he can cus he does it every morning, im just worried if they start playing on the stiars they might fall

you should just let them be, just put pillows in front of the top rails blocking the gaps so they dont fall, other then that you should let them be, their being kittens, its what they do, if the little one pounces the older one its playing, all cats playfight,
i'm sure its fine, if your that concerned call a local vet or go to a local petstore ask someone there or get a cat book
