New hamster!

So 2 days ago I got a hamster! There were about 35 to choose from, and I had narrowed it down to 3, but in the end I chose this one because it was the youngest. At first I thought it was a girl, and at work I had all the kids vote on names that I picked out (or I had them write their own--i work at a daycare and the kids love being able to do stuff like that). The names I had picked were Mackenzie, Miley, Lainie, Izzy, and Roxy. The most popular wound up being Izzy and Miley. (Among the names the kids came up with were Whitey, Blackie, Fluffy, Panda, and "Pepsqweck"--aka Pipsqueak lol). Later on that night tho i was looking at it and upon further inspection I saw what could possibly be boy parts...it's so young tho, I can't really tell. If it's a boy, I like the names Dominick or Domino. And if it's a girl I'm going to go with either Miley or Roxy. Or if I get tired of waiting to figure out it's gender I'll just call it Buddy lol. It's so cute tho, it's a panda bear hamster so it's black and white and it's soooo tiny!
But oh my goodness, we had a close call it's first night home! I was gone for a few hours at a counseling appointment and then grocery shopping and I came home to check on it and it was GONE. My room was especially messy that day and 2 of my cats were in there all day. Luckily the first place my mom looked was behind my chinchilla's cage and there it was! It was okay, but it smelled like cat spit so I know my cats had it in their mouths at some point. It's very lucky to be alive, because in addition to the cats, I also have the following in my room: 5 rats, a chinchilla, a bearded dragon, 3 toads, and 2 guinea pigs. So it picked a good spot to hide!
Anyways, I just felt like sharing--he/she really is a cutie! And it's also very sweet.

OMG at least s/he's okay. I love hamsters I'd really like to have another one but I'm scared my cat may kill it ._____. Congrats on getting him/her anyway
