Bah.. I don't have anything much more than a ferret, and that's not very exotic at all. Though I would enjoy having a degu or chinchilla, a squirrel monkey and a savanna cat.
I would so totally have a zoo in my home if I could, lol. I was thinking an owl or sugar gilder would be awesome as well, but owl's are like impossible to potty train, and I don't recall why I decided not to go on a sugar glider, it could have been for the poop issue as well. o_o!Exotics are awesome, well most anyways. But cost of care, especially vet care is just too expensive.

I love exotics! I'm the proud owner of a 2 year old ball python. He's pretty laid back and awesome. I also really want to have a capuchin monkey at some point in my life. doesn't have to necessarily be capuchin; i have to do more research. but not till i'm out of school
Edit: also love all other animals (have a greyhound, small mutt, three cats, and two rats) |

A guinea pig is considered an exotic pet (so I learned when looking for a vet and ended up paying obscene amounts). So, yes. I've had guinea pigs my whole life, as I've never been allowed a dog, or other rodents, haha. I current have one, named Sadie.
I'd love an abundance of other animals. Exotic or otherwise. Like someone else said, I'd have a zoo in my home if i could! My cousin has a chinchilla. I think a snake would be a cool pet. Or a seal
.
Anders: That's not evasive.

I've pretty much had guinea pigs all my life too (now I have a dog though), however I've never considered them exotic, even if them come from Peru. Actually I once convinced my mum that my school was having a guinea pig faire in connection with a Peruvian school lol

I have two dogs, two cats, two fire bellied toads, one parrotlete (smallest form of a true parrot) one leopard gecko, and a hedgehog.
To me, only the hedgehog and parrotlete are exotic But I guess maybe the gecko a toads are?

i have a bearded dragon, college has plenty of exotics such as:blue tongue skink(is this spelt right i never remember),millipedes if they count,2 bearded dragons,6 cornsnakes of different sizes,ages,colourings,tortioise,4 leopard geckos recently 4 hatchling leopard geckos and many more to hatch,1 ball python,1 big python,tarantula,4 lizard things but can't remember there exact names, some frogs and a sugar glider that likes jumping onto me.I think thats it for exotics.
Then they have all the boring farm animals, and rodents i think the ferrets are the worst and the chipmunks the cutest. Can you tell im doing animal care at college? Love you Naomi R.I.P i miss you loads but i will never forget you

I've never owned anything exotic, other than having an aquarium which at one point had these small tri-coloured shark fish. Not exciting or anything, not much longer than a goldfish. What I want but each time I've tried/suggested my parents flip their lids and run up the walls, is some snakes and a lizard of some sort. One of the things I love, although rather dangerous, is poisinous things. We have a few plants that are toxic if eaten and some shurbs which can no longer be sold in Canada and possibly in North America because they posed too much of a danger yet it is legal to keep if you have them already planted. I'm not sure if they struck down that law and they are legal again but every single plant/greenhouse we've gone to, none ever sell it and many don't know what it's called.
Although, I would prefer to have either non-poisonous snakes, snakes whose poison isn't terribly lethal or snakes whose venom has been removed. Ooooo, I always wanted a Komodo Dragon and a tiger but I see there are a few problems and difficulties with obtaining/keeping/knowing how to |

I love reptiles and have been keeping them for some time now, this is my current collection :
Red tail or common boa, he is a great temperment and a great feeder, is getting big now. Rainbow Boa, we had alot of trouble through him when he was little, but alot better now and a lovely snake to have, lovely makings and would get another one within time Royal Python, We have a male and female which we will be using to breed from when the time is right, these are not mine but my nans, they are a lovely lazy snake and ideal for first timers for snakes, never bitten once. 4 corns, We have 4 corns, we have had corns for some time now and been one of our first snakes and breeding projects, we have 3 adults and one baby (which is one from our adults) Amel, Anery, Cali and Snow morphs. We have one clutch of eggs waiting to hatch next month some time. Pink tongue skink, she is a lovely lizard, half snake half lizard in some ways, bright pink tongue, sharp clues but wouldnt hurt a fly. 8 leopard geckos, i wanted a lizard so got a male leopard gecko, this a great first time lizard for anyone, i started at one and ended up with 7 as a breeding project, and then one baby hatched today making it 8. Each is different from each other and have their own personailitys and i would recommend them, these are the morphs i have: Normal, Strip mac snow, super hypo, high yellow, hypo, normal, chocolate albino and a normal het albino |
