Identifying a Cat's Breed (Pictures!) - August 14th 2010, 12:11 AM

I saw this adorable cat at work yesterday, and I SWEAR that it's a purebred something-or-another. xD Its face is so... distinct. Unfortunately, the pet's service card said "Shorthair Mix". =P The people at the front desk are suuuper lazy like that. I can't ask the owner(s), because I won't be at work when the cat is taken home. D=

So, I was hoping some cat experts/lovers out there could help me in identifying this cat's breed! <3 Not the best of pictures... I apologize for that. =(

EDIT: I think this might be a Burmese...?

Burmese would be my guess.

Was going to say Bombay from the rightest thumbnail... but, yes, considering the cat has smaller ears and is not black (among other things), my vote is Burmese.

I think Burmese too. It's got that stocky kind of build. But it's probably not full-Burmese.

Love the first photo, by the way. That kitten has some attitude .

Thanks, guys! =)

@Elliotte: Yup, she was definitely sable. xD Such a pretty color, in my opinion! <3

@Amy: Haha, thank you! =D It was totally by accident... I think she had just sneezed. =P

Janos, feel free to close this thread. =)
