well I'm not sure what plasters are I'm gonna guess they are band-aids or something but anyways some antibiotic ointment like neosporin or a generic form of it would be good and one that also has a pain reliever would also be good. I recommend that for any first aid kits.

k good haha I figured. It's funny that I lived with a roommate for a whole semester who was from London and I didn't know that lol anyways I though of something else, gauze would also be a very good thing to have too and not just a few sheets at least a box of ten or so.

Hey Ryan.

I'd like to preface this by saying that in no way am I encouraging you to self harm - in fact, I would really recommend you work on stopping. But since you started this thread to talk about your first aid kit, I'm going to just leave you with the list of alternatives (which I recommend checking out sometime) and move on.

There's a quick and easy first aid information thread here. Basically, use common sense - you need to be prepared. If you're going to self harm, at least try to make sure you clean the wound afterwards - so something like saline could help, as well as some kind of antiseptic cream (I'm in Australia, so any brands I would list may well not be available in England, and I don't know your equivalent) or something similar. Bandages and maybe a small towel (in case you need to stop the bleeding) aren't a bad idea either. Maybe some tape, non-adhesive dressings, things like that. Just basically anything you think you might need and can fit into the kit - focus on items that will keep the wound clean and help it heal.

I hope this helped, and I hope you at least consider finding a safer way to cope at some point.
Take care.
