Pain - August 26th 2012, 02:37 AM

I like pain, I like hurting myself, I used to do reckless things so I would be injured, I'd do things which would cause me pain. I still do, I kept thnking of cutting but then I just wore this hair tie and I continually flicked it, until my skin was raw and bruised. I started feeling immue to that type of pain so I started pinching myself until it started bleeding. I've run out of options and I need the pain, its as if I think I deserve it. I probably do. But, if I did cut myself I'd bleed out, I'm on freaking blood thinners, but bleeding out wouldn't be so bad. I need some advice on what I can do other than cut. Otherwise before this week lets out I'll have a few cuts on my wrists or somewhere nobody can see.
Please, I need help.
Life is overwhelming.
Over and out.

Been there, done that. It doesn't give me enough pain.

Then maybe you should tell someone about this... I mean yeah you're not going to but its a good idea... Its better to get help for this before you actually start cutting, because (for me) its nearly impossible to quit and you can't wear the clothes you want because of the scars.

I don't care about clothes, but I need the pain, I need the pain before it drives me over the edge and I down all the tablets I have for my medical condition.

As Jamie said, talking to someone you trust about this is a good idea. Sometimes it helps to have someone you can go to, and maybe they can help you with this before it gets any worse.

Regardless of if you tell anyone, I think you should take a look at this list of alternatives http://www.teenhelp.org/forums/f12-s...ves-self-harm/. Not everything will work for everyone so you might need to try a few things. Since you mentioned needing to feel pain, the Alternatives that Will Give You a Sensation (other than pain) section might work best for you. Definitely take a look at the others too though. Hope this helps.

I burned myself last night because the knife I tried to use was blunt -Blushes- I couldn't take it anymore.
