FAT - November 28th 2013, 06:04 PM

I have a scar on my upper thigh on my right leg that says FAT on it. It's fading away and I need to cut it again so it doesn't fade. But if I do that my grandma is going to get supper pissed off at me. But the thing is just because it's fading doesn't mean it's gonna go away it will probably be there forever I just need it to be more visible. I have no clue why i am even posting this. Please don't post alternatives they don't work and this isn't about that it's about making the scar more visible.

Don't lose who you are, in the blur of the stars
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay
Sometimes it's hard, to follow your heart
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are

Hi,

Remember that we can't encourage any sort of behavior that will harm you in any way, so we can't encourage you to cut into it again to make it fade less, or really encourage you to do anything that will damage the skin any more. Because of that, I don't think there is anything we can really tell you about making the scars more visible, since most methods would be harmful.

You DO have the memory of the scar, and you think it'll help you can take a picture of the scar so you can still see it after it fades, but you want have to harm yourself to do it. That way you won't get anyone upset, and it'll be a way to still see the scar. You can put it somewhere private where nobody else can see, and it's a non-harmful way to still have the scars. And then if you ever DO regret the scar, you can just get rid of the picture and never have to see it again.

I think that your grandma would only be getting mad at you because she does care about you, though, or else she wouldn't say anything. Maybe you can tell her how you feel. I'll respect your wishes about not posting alternatives, though.

Thank you seems like your always posting on my threads. I know you can't encourage any of the behaviors I just need to get it out there that I don't like that it's fading. I guess taking a picture could work that way i wouldn't have to cut through it again. Thanks

If you feel like you need to have something on your skin that says that then maybe writing the word on with a pen could work (I use to occasionally do it with possitive words on my wrist, keeping it hidden from view with my sleeve, although it fades eventually and is a little hard to write on your skin it does work and will at least last the day at the very least)
