How to cover up scars/cuts??? - February 19th 2015, 09:13 PM

I have to go to a family party on Saturday and my mum insists on me wearing this short sleeved dress but I still have new enough scars and cuts on my wrist and I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to cover them up?? I've tried braclets but they keep sliding down. I know this doesn't sound like that much of a problem so if you reply thanks <3

Hi Mia,

I can see how arm movement would make your bracelets slide around. You can try tighter bracelets so they won't move, and you can also try to wear a watch as well. Consider wearing a light weight cardigan or a sweater to go over your dress. You can also try using make-up to cover your scars. Make-up can be helpful as long as you don't use it over fresh wounds. This article has some additional ideas that you may find useful.

Hey,

I think a cardigan or sweater is a good idea. Makeup could work, but like the person above said, don't put it on open wounds (this could lead to infection). Try wearing longer bracelets or ones that you can tighten, too – you could use both makeup and bracelets just in case.

Hope it goes well
