Um... Oops? - May 14th 2015, 08:42 AM

I have a sleepover on Saturday, and because I relapsed yesterday I'm a bit worried they will see and wonder about it. There's quite a few people going so I'm a bit worried about it. How can I cover it up?

Hi there,

I don't know where about on your body you have self harmed, but if it's on your arms, you can wear long sleeves. If its on your legs you can wear trousers. If its on your feet you can wear socks all the time etc. So there should be a way to hide it all the time and you can always get changed in the bathroom on your own. I always did at sleepovers so I would try not to worry about it.

Have you thought about talking to your friends about it? Maybe they'd be able to help you and understand and help you through this rough patch that you are going through. I know it's hard to open up to people but these are your friends. I'm sure they'll stick by you not matter what.

I hope this helps a little,
Take care of yourself.

Jessie
