What should I do? - August 10th 2015, 02:07 AM

Hi lately it has been very awkward between my best friend and I. That is because of a situation that has happened. She was the one who got me to stop cutting because I hate to make people that angry with me. She was frustrated with the fact that I wasn't getting better after she tried so hard to help me.

My question is that what should I do with this because now we never talk and it always feels awkward to see her even now that she isn't all the mad because I stopped the self-harm. I feel like I need to talk to her and make everything okay again. I don't want to go through that same drama as before. Any advice?

I'm sorry to hear that your friend got frustrated with you, but I'm glad you want to talk to her again, and I'm glad you've stopped self-harming! You said you feel the need to talk to her and I think you should talk to her. Maybe you can let her know that she helped you stop self-harming so she knows how important she is to you. But, I also think you should talk to her about how she made you feel when she got frustrated with you. I think you should mention that you'd like to become friendlier with her and see where that takes you.

Let us know how everything goes!
