I have cuts and sores from rubbing on my knuckles. I know it is a really bad place for them because I do everything with my hands. I just need to know is there a way I can cover them without looking like a total fool with band-aides on all of my fingers?

We may shine, we may shatter,
We may be picking up the pieces here on after,
We are fragile, we are human,
We are shaped by the light we let through us,
We break fast, cause we are glass.
Cause we are glass.

Hi, Essa!

I'm sorry to hear about this. I can imagine it is painful having wounds on your fingers, as well as not knowing how to cover it without people wondering why exactly. Have you seen clear band-aids? They are completely clear aside from the bandage, and if the wounds are small you could go with smaller band-aids. It would be less noticeable.

Do you have any thin fingerless gloves? You can put band-aids on your knuckles and put on gloves to conceal the fact that you have band-aids on. I'm unsure exactly how far up or down the sores are located on your fingers. Are fingerless gloves possible? You can get different lengths. Some leave all of your fingers exposed while some cover half or more. Depends on which ones you chose. Whether or not you use these gloves to conceal band-aids, could this be an alternative to prevent you from rubbing your knuckle causing additional sores?

When you have cuts and sores it can interfere with a lot since you do everything with your hands, and it can cause those cuts and sores to be more prone to infection if they aren't cleaned often as well as further trauma since you are constantly moving your fingers and using them. Keeping the cuts and sores clean, covered and using antibiotic ointment will increase healing time.

Hoping that your wounds heal up soon, Essa. You can message me anytime if you need anything. Take care!

Liquid bandaids and make up might work. Or maybe wrapping them up in athletic tape.
