well what have you done to distract yourself? I recently just got a plant to distract myself, i know it's kinda weird. Idk why it works but it just does. Because i know it's watching me do it and so i cant scatch.
" One day at a time, this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering. "
i wonder when i'll finally jsut start accepting myself, when i'll stop saying i wish i could be like that person. i have facebook, and myspace. and you can ask for it. :P |

Hey there,
It is absolutely wonderful that you have been self harm free for a year, that is such a wonderful achievement and you should be proud of yourself! Keep reminding yourself about the accomplishment that you've achieved. All of that time proves to you exactly how strong you are and how you can cope well without hurting yourself. I think it'd be a good idea if you can discover any triggers and try to work your way through them or even just trying to avoid them at first. It'd be a good idea if you try and make a list of alternative, safe coping methods that you could use instead of hurting yourself, too, and utilise those coping methods. Take care and keep strong. |
