Hey there. Sorry you're feeling like this.

You say you need to cut to change things - what good will cutting really do? Try and look at this logically - cutting will only make things worse. You deserve to be free of self-harm, and you deserve to be happy again.

Is there someone in real life you can talk to about this?

Stay strong. xx

Nothing in the world is
the way it ought to be.
It's harsh, and cruel.

But that's why there's us - champions.
Doesn't matter where we come from,
what we've done or suffered,
or even if we make a difference.

We live as though the
world is as it should be,
to show it what it can be.

Hey there,

I know how it feels to feel the need to cut but I promise you do not need it. You can make it through all of this pain and suffering without the self harm. It will be hard as hell but with time it will get easier.

Do you have someone you can talk to? A friend? A parent? Another close person or relative? Talking can be really hard but in the end it can be really beneficial. Once you talk about something, although the problems won't go away, I am sure you will feel a little bit better.

Can I ask what is causing you to want to self harm? If you can focus on that and then figure that out you might be better able to fight the urge to self harm.

Lastly, have you thought of getting a therapist? I know it can be hard to open up to a stranger about all of the issues you are struggling with but in the end it really does help to have an objective understanding person to talk to.

If you need anything feel free to pm me.

Jenna

There could never be amore beautiful you
Don't buy the lies, disguisesandhoops they make you jump through
You were made tofill a purposethat only you could do
So there could never be amore beautiful you
-Johnny Diaz

Everyday
is so wonderful
And suddenly it's hard to breathe
Now and then I get insecure
From all the pain, I feel so ashamed

I am beautiful no matter what they say
Words can't bring me down
I am beautiful in every single way
Yes, words can't bring me down, oh no
So don't you bring me down today

To all your friends you're delirious
So consumed in all your doom
Tryin' hard to fill the emptiness, the piece is gone
Left the puzzle undone, ain't that the way it is?

'Cause you are beautiful no matter what they say
Words can't bring you down, oh no
You are beautiful in every single way
Yes, words can't bring you down, oh no
So don't you bring me down today

thank you. Cutting keeps me alive at the moment. its my lifeline. It doesnt make it worse at the moment because it cant really get any worse!
Jenna, I'm old hack at this now, been doing it for 2 years and been down the whole talking about it thing. I have lots of friends that I confide in, and have seen lots of counsellors. I currently see a CPN once a week, and to be honest she isnt that great.

To make you feel more alive you could try to think of some happy moments in your childhood and write them down so you can look back at them and remember.

I've been there and it's very confusing. But keeping a diary will help a little better. When writing down things, you're steping back and looking back to why you're doing it.

During a period of time when you're cutting, it's like being out in the ocean.
The boat of life as just sailed away and you're sitting their sinking under water, going deeper, but my advice is keeping a diary, even if it's just writing one sentence down on a post-it.

And one more thing. You've got to keep swimming. The boats not coming back. You have to go get it
