i self harm when im angry or upset i keep getting urges and i find myself picking arguments making myself upset and angry just to find a reason to self harm and give into the urges i hate it but i cant stop it
im just so tired of being here

Hey there,
There sounds like there must be a reason to why you feel the need to pick arguments, which then lead you on to self harming. Perhaps if you can identify why you do that then you might be able to find a different way to see things. Also I would suggest trying to talk to someone. It does help to just get out how you feel rather than hold it inside because that makes you feel worse. I think you know that self harm doesn't really help. It just more masks the original problem and leads to others. I am always here if you want to chat. Stay strong. |

I agree with Jen you have to try to find the root of the problem. Self harm is hard to understand and sometimes we can't understand why we do it. This makes us search for a reason such as through anger and being upset. It gives us more of an explanation why we do it. The physical pain matches the emotional pain we have inside. Just know that you are not alone and try to find someone you can maybe talk to about this. Do you have a therapist? Be strong and I am here for you.
