Slight sting - March 15th 2011, 07:04 PM

I just cut and since I can't get a hold of a knife I'm using other stuff I just Barely pierced the skin and I'm getting a stinging feeling is that normal? Or bizarre?


Everyone has to date a few jerks so they know when they have found a true gem<3

I find that as well quite a bit, it will go after a couple of days. Make sure you still clean it to stop any infection.

Hey Kait.

It's not uncommon for there to be a slight stinging feeling after you self harm. The best thing you can do now is take care of the injury as best you can (here's some information on first aid care).

Since the main point of your thread wasn't to ask for support, I'll only touch on that lightly. I'm sorry to hear that you hurt yourself, and if there's anything we can do to help, just let us know.
