It isnt your fault at all Jenny. Don't ever feel like its your fault if he ever slips, even if its after a fight. Just be there for him let him know you're there for him, and sorry to see that he slipped up and ultimately help him to get back on his feet again and start a new and longer streak of SH free.

Hey Jenny,
I don't think it is your fault. During recovery we do come across situations where we slip. Every SH recoverer has slipped at some point or the other. Self Harm is addicting and we tend to go to it to seek comfort when things go wrong and slip. But its okay. We are humans, we make mistakes and it is fine when we make them. That is how we learn. I think what you should do right now is talk to him about this. He must be feeling bad about it too. Encourage him that its just a slip and its okay. Tell him that you are here for him. I am sure he'll appreciate that. Stay strong <3 Spread "Jaadu ki Jhhappis" - The Magic Hugs![]() Buddy - 28th January 2012 HelpLINK Mentor - 20th March 2012 Why Me?
