Question Not sure if this will help anyone but..... - March 1st 2012, 11:32 PM

I don't know if it would actually help anyone, but I kept a diary when I used to cut and still do. I thought about maybe posting some of my entries. One of the main reasons I want to stop is because I went back and read what I wrote a long time ago- I realized that I don't want to think like that anymore. If anyone thinks it would help them....Please Comment

As a staff member, I would encourage you to put a trigger label on anything you post that was written in that frame of mind. On a less serious note, I for one have done the same thing and find that it helps to look back and see how far you've come. I encourage you to do it

I've recently started keeping a journal for it. It helps for those times when I wake up the next day, wondering "What was I thinking?!" When I re-read and find out what I was thinking to get me to that frame of mind, it helps me to see what to avoid to not slip up next time.
