I have no idea why the last thread was closed, but I'm starting a new one.

I have it on both legs. I'm completely independent, and it hasn't affected me mentally...Unless you count depression, well then yes it does. If I'm sitting down, you can't notice it at all. When I stand up...maybe. It mostly fucks up my walking. I can walk with normal endurance most of the time. Its the spastic kind.

I was reading the other thread and I think it's awesome that there's other people on TH that have it.

If you wanna know the real reason for my SH, it's probably the insecurity that comes from CP. And all the shit that it brings.

I have spastic CP as well. It affects my legs too..basically what you described. I can't run very far without getting tired and such. I don't really get insecure..but I do have depression at times. I can basically do what everyone else can, but perhaps in a different way.

Oh, and as a side note. The last thread got closed because it hadn't been replied to in two weeks. Threads automatically close if they haven't been replied to in that span of time.

It's really inspiring to see threads like this, for the record. I don't have Cerebral Palsy, but I'm so glad you guys are coping so well with it - I just think that's really cool and admirable. I love buying lemonade from the ones that support CP or MS or something of the sort - it's good stuff.

heya i suffer from cp but just in my left arm and left leg i can't really use my left arm well, and walking is a struggle but i get there, it's the pain i can't stand on a night, because it can be both of my legs most of the time, i think it's affecting my right because i relie on that side more but i forget i even have it most the time =]
