Interwebs - February 10th 2010, 02:05 AM

I use the interwebs. A lot. I'd say 10-11 hours a day when I have school and more than 12 when I don't. I just find an escape in it. I have no life outside of it.

It's good that you recognize too much time online is bad. And it may be hard trying to get away from something you are addicted to, but it can be done.

Try and find things you can do that will occupy your time instead. Hang out with friends, play sports, anything you enjoy that will keep you offline. It will be hard at first, but I think after you realize what you are all missing by spending so much time online, you will be glad you decided to do this.

Also it may help to talk to others about this. They can help keep your mind off of it and do things with you to help make the transition easier.

I hope things work out for you.

Re: Interwebs - February 10th 2010, 04:19 AM

I don't have any friends outside of the internet to hang out with and I don't like playing sports. My only interest is the computer. I have trouble making friends in real life, and I'm lazy. I figure at least it's only this and not drugs or anything.
