Tapping your fingers really isn't doing you or anyone else any harm. But if you really want to stop, I think the best way to help yourself would be to find something to keep your hands busy. whether it be doodling on a paper or playing with sticky tack (the sticky tack thing helped me quit biting my nails - maybe it could help in this situation too).
Overall though, it's just mind over matter. You just have to try and catch yourself and stop doing it. Hopefully some tricks to keep your hands busy will help though. <3 Emily "Sometimes it's a struggle to be not who you want to be, not who you used to be, not who you're going to be, but just being right where you are, who you are" ![]() |
