I used to be fascinated by fire -

Since I was around 12, I was amazed by fire. I loved the way it felt on my skin, I loved the smell, I loved the heat, I loved the crackling noise it made.
There was a period where I realized I was addicted and tried to control myself. I couldn't sleep at night and my hands started trembling when I didn't have my fire fix. Over the years it gradually went away. I still love it but I am able to control it. Luckly I never burned down anything or done anything illegal. Anyone else ever addicted to fire? |

I am glad you got your problem under control.
 I have a pyromaniac acquaintance, but I myself have never been addicted to fire. I love bonfires though, but I don't enjoy getting extremely close to any kind of heat... I was very close to becoming a pyromaniac...soon as i reilized what i was doing i controled myself...but i loved to watch things burn, id rip up papers and leaves and wood and anything i could get and burn it with a lighter. i love melting wax over candels and anytime i can burn somthing...but im under control now. i can do it less...compulsivly now. it is facinating, seeing it crackle and flicker and how everything reacts to it....*goes to find a lighter*

I love fire. It's just so fascinating to look at. I love sitting in my room when it's lit only by some candles. I love to melt wax over candles and have a thing about putting my fingers in the candles for a moment, letting the wax dry around my fingers, pulling it off and then melting it on the flame so it becomes part of the candle again.
Fire is beautiful.   |
