i obsessivley chew on stuff -

Its a bad habit, and I'm addicted to it. Every moment of every day, i have to have something in my mouth to chew on or suck on. I don't care if its food or a pencil or my fingernail; i have to chew on it. Is there some way that I could stop?

It just comes down to willpower, try to keep your self acvtive, busy?

Could you try chewing gum instead? It's keeping your mouth busy and it's less noticeable and safer/healthier too.

I have the same problem. You just have to keep your mouth busy. I know at school lazy year I wasn't aloud to chew gum so I didn't actually chew the gum but kept it in my mouth. Kept me busy.

I know what you mean. I've always had the same problem. When I saw a occupational therapist she said it was my sensory system. She gave me this rubber tubing that really helped for me to chew on. I know you can't walk around with it in public but like at home it really helped. Plus it wore out my mouth so it would get tired and I wouldn't be chewing on other random stuff.
