Ambitious - August 24th 2012, 04:06 AM

Well, have been writing books for six years now, starting out with short stories when I was eight. I found out it was a good way to express myself to the world. I have had a few teachers read my writing, and told them to be critical. They told me it ws great for someone of my age. One is always encouraging me to branch out into new writing areas. My goal for now is to publish one of my books before I was 25, starting early is better than not starting at all. Here is one example of my writing capability: I missed 52 days of semester one this year and when I came back we had to write essays, I always loathed them because I thought I sucked at them. On Monday a teacher said I was moving up. Because of my essay! On a movie I had hardly watched. But, if you need a little writing reference I'll do it:

The figure crept through the dark, not even a creak told of his whereabouts. The pale moon was half covered by clouds, the light could hardly penetrate the dark, the shadows jumped as if figures lunged at the boy. The boy hunched down, his eyes bright as the aspect of being out on a night like this. Life went on, he always told himself. On this night he had left, left everything behind and now he was finding a new part of himself. A dark insight into his very soul....

Well, it's not my best being off the top of my head, usually if I had a a story line its better. -Chuckles- Well, my yead advisor told our year this: We should be like rockets, aiming high, flying straight. I only want to be the best I can be, and nothing less.

I'm glad that you are seeking a goal that involves writing (which is hard to find now adays). You seem to be very good at it; and I'm sure all your short stories/books turn/will turn out great! Keep making them; keep editing them; and make people read them and thats what will get you to the finish line.

Best wishes,
Chris

Chris
I hope you know that you deserve it all. The best, the most honest, the most beautiful purest love in the world. Not only to be loved by others, but to be loved by yourself. To look in the mirror and think "Yes, I'm exactly who I want to be". To speak up and be proud of yourself. To be brave and open. You deserve the nicest and most caring people to walk into your life. You deserve it all, you know. The whole world...

Thank you, Chris, I'll never stop my writing, I write at least seven pages a day and will always have my USB around so I can complete my books. Writing a book is the most enjoyable thing I have found to do and that others say I am god at. Other than drawing Anime.

Hey there,
It's awesome to see someone seeking their ambition. Even I'm very fond of writing and am working on a book. So keep it up.
Don't stop writing as you seem to be pretty good at it.
As Chris said, ask people to read your works and work on your writing.
All the best!
