Planners - June 30th 2015, 12:43 PM

I've bought a yearly planner and I'm going to try and actually do everything I write down. I procrastinate a lot and really need to stop. Sadly my planner doesn't start until August 2015 (it's weirdly hard to find a pretty planner which starts in January)

I remember when I was in school I started writing lists and it was the only I'd actually do things. I had a bit of an obsession with lists :')

What gives you a kick up the bum to actually do things?

I write stuff on my hand so I see it all the time and try to do it before it washes off, which usually works pretty well. I also found out that I work a lot better if I bike to the library, work for an hour, bike back, and keep working. Something about the combination of exercise and a quiet space helps me focus

Back when I was college I always done my assignments in the college library. There's far less distractions >.>

I do enjoy a library quiet headspace.

Thanks <3

I really like the idea of a planner, but I'm always too scared to start one, as I know I probably wont stick to it

To-do lists are really helpful for me! Sometimes I find it hard to motivate myself and stick to whatever I need to do, so I try to organise my time and split things into smaller tasks. Then I try to get rid of all distractions and just get on with it

Yeah, having little breaks would help me with assignments and things in school/college. The annoying thing is I procrastinate things I WANT to do :')

What helps me finish all my work is thinking about how I can relax after I've finished them.

The quicker I get them done, the quicker and longer I get to chill.

As well as the feeling I get when I do get all my things done.
