So, I love writing.
 Today when I got home from school, I thought I was in trouble because my dad yelled for me to go into the kitchen. When I walked in he shoved the Columbus Dispatch at me, and pointed to a small thing at the bottom of the page for NOW!. NOW! is a part of the paper for kids and younger teenagers that comes out in the Sunday paper, and they have contests. But the contests are always for drawing, so I've never looked at them. What my daddy was pointing too was a writing contest for a suspense story. It gives you a website to go to, and the website gives you about two pages that an author has already written, and you're in charge of finishing.This contest is open for anyone from ages 8-14, so I have two years to try, counting this year.  I told my friend, and he keeps telling me that I am going to win. I know that it's a fat chance because it's open to so many kids all across Ohio, but still. Knowing that he has faith that I will win, it makes me happy. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I really hope that this year or next I will be able to be one of the finalists. Wish me luck!

Wow! I think that is amazing! You know you are a great writer...everyone else knows you are a great writer...now show the world you are a great writer!!!! If you write with your heart and with all of your passion...you will not be surprised where it will take you...

i hope you win goodluck and dont give up hope because even if u dont the most part u tried and rite there u are already a winner thats how i do it so i dont put myself down because everyone is a winner just not one person hope you lots of luck
