I wish that people would stop being discriminative to other people whether its because of thier religion, skin colour or a health/mental issue. the thing that makes me angry most is being mean to people with health/mental issues. babies with HI (Harlequin Ichthyosis) are exployted on youtube as "demons" and "monsters".
People with mental health problems like Down's syndrome and ortism get bullied alot... why are people so mean? My biggest aims in life are:
I just want all bad things to stop. You all have wishes/dreams...right? post them on here

It's nice that you want to be able to help people who are less fortunate in health, whether it be mental or physical. It's a nice thing to aim for.

 I totally agree with you Beth. In fact, I want to advocate and work with those whith autism, downs syndrome, nld, and other developmental disorders. I have a developmental disability myself, so I know what it's like. It is wrong to discriminate. And I like those goals. I'm studying to be someone in the human services field to help those with disabilities. My goals are: - To help those with disabilities function in society to the best of their abilities. - To advocate for those with disabilities. - To help teach those with disabilities. |

i just really hate people who discriminate.... there is a girl in my school with down's syndrome and she gets laughed at alot

I would say be her friend and stand up for her. Because, having a disability does not mean you're retarded, you just think differently, and I'm sure you know that. Does she have any friends? If not, why not be the first one? For those with disabilities (and I know this from experience), friendships mean everything. Yes, we want to be accepted by everyone, but one person can make a HUGE difference in our lives.
