Unhappy Scared - April 2nd 2010, 01:10 AM

I am afraid for my close friend. She has revealed to me that she is being physically and emotionally abused by both her parents. She is currently living with a friend, but sees her parents every so often. She has called the police before, but they dont believe her. I am worried about her, what should I do?

I think you should seek any authorities that will listen. Try going with her to the police station. Demand someone that will do something. If the police don't listen, your state's Department of Children and Families should. It is appalling when the people that are supposed to protect instead choose to ignore. Absolutely appalling.
