why cant i just say no or stop? -

i just cant do it. ive been molested and raped since i was a toddler. the other day i was on a bus, and this man sitting next to me, started touching me. all i did was freeze, and cry inside. these things keep happening to me. what do i do? i cant stop it. i cant live like this anymore

i suggest go to see a counsellor, maybe practice saying no or stop in the mirror say it over and over and over again, you CAn say no it is your body...and no one else can say other wise

thats exactly what u do go to the mirror and practice saying no and stop and how to react to what they might say and do it until its an automatic response and just comes out and nice and easy
it might take a while but practice makes perfect :P i know it does sound silly and it feels weird at first but it helps you

Hey ella,
The first thing you should do is report the person(s) who molested you. Next, you should seek professional help for this. Some things you can try out are ways of planning what you will do. Look in the mirror and say 'No stop.' Write down that you will stop. Stay strong. Take care. PM me anytime. |

I also would like to say, don't take it your on yourself that you can't get the words out of your mouth. A common response to unwanted sexual contact is freezing up and panicking.
 And when I'm not sure how to try, Who will take my hand? |
