OMG!! A Guy Tried To Pick ME Up Today!! -

I was walking to a meeting that I have every Monday with my youth empowering group. On the way, I saw a guy in a siler car do some head nod acknowledgement thing so I thought that he wanted me to do it back so, I did. Then he decided to turn around and try to call me over. So, I said "Yeah?" And he said some language I didn't understand and gestured for me to get in his car. So, I said "I have somewhere to be right now sorry." He said "Ok" looking disapointed and left after a little while. But the whole time I was walking (I haden't gotten where I had to be yet) I was thinking 'what would have happened if I went with him?'
Everthing I see seems to be a lie. And everything you see in me you think is the truth. But, really all you see is what I'm masking the real me with. You never see me cry. Because I'll never let you. And you'll never see me die because I feel like I already have in a way.

this happened to me too and it was pretty scary. if they had gotten out of the car i wouldnt have been able to go anywhere and it really tought me a lesson. good for you that you were able to think on your feet and keep yourself away from trouble

How is the neighborhood?
Are there a lot of prostitutes around that area? He could have assumed since you are a female walking in that area, you are a prostitute and by head nodding back it was sort of a confirmation type thing and he gestured you back into the car. |
