SCHIZOPHRENIA is sickening - October 5th 2012, 09:47 PM

Does anyone knows what it feels like to lose touch with reality and dont realize that you are. Im constantly thinking that animals are sending me messages and people are evil. I believe that the goverment is out to take my brain and my meds are poisioning my organs. Anyone else have these problems.

I have similar problems, not the exact same as yours. Mine have gotten somewhat better with medication.
I used to think that flies were robotic cameras watching me, that some organization was out to kill me, hearing voices and seeing people, etc..
You're not alone, you can PM me if you want to talk about it at all.

I am paraniod most of the time. It took me forever to try medication because I thought it was some kind of way they could control me or know everything all my little secrets.(not being a trusting person that caused me issues) I also hear things a lot. I had to stop medication for a pregnancy but I know I can manage. Although work gets rough seeing unfirmilar faces. I hate when I lose sight of whats going on and im in my world not this world.

Its a tough challenge but I wouldn't be me if I didnt have it.

feel free to PM me...

I'm borderline but I think I'll require meds soon. I am extremely paranoid, I freak out when I see a flock of crows because I think that is my death omen. I see things and hear sounds, I'm afraid to take my pills at times because I think it's going to poison me but I know it can't.
It's a hard struggle and it's shit when I'm around my friends and I have a panic attack because I'm seeing something that's not there or I look around and I feel like everyone is talking about me.

Jay.

I know exactly what it's like to lose touch with reality and not know you are doing it. I go through psychosis on a daily basis. I hear voices, see people, animals, objects and swarms of bugs that aren't there. I feel people grabbing and touching me and I smell things that aren't there, and I am often paranoid. I also dissociate when I go into flashbacks. Just know that you are not alone.

I'm not Schizophrenic, but I have Psychotic features where, without medicating, I have episodes where I see, hear, and even feel things that aren't there. So, you're definitely not alone there.

I'm schizophrenic too. And yes, I know it way too well.
Right now I'm in hospital, but you can always send a PM to me.
I'm right here for you, always. Stay strong, hun.

I've never been diagnosed schizophrenic but I have the same experiences as you. I hate when it happens but have learned to deal without meds. Stay strong and you will get through it! I am paranoid, hear/see/feel things that aren't there and always have thought that meds are a way to find out everything about a person that they don't want you to know. I've experienced the animals messaging me part too. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to!

At the moment I can't take my meds because I'm afraid it's poison, they're Gonna force me to take it, and put me in a belt and everything. I'm scared. Really scared.
I hate this fucking illness.
