Annoyed - April 14th 2014, 07:19 PM

God I have no clue what the hell is going on. For the past couple of months I have been getting annoyed very easily. When people talk to me I get annoyed, or when they are around me and talking I'm annoyed. It's frustrating and very aggravating. I have no clue what to do. Or why it's happening and how to make it stop. I've ally gotten annoyed easily but this is just out of control. Ugh I just want it to stop. How do I make it stop? I don't mean just walking away when it happens I need it to not happen.

Re: Annoyed - April 15th 2014, 09:10 AM

Hey there! When I become more easily annoyed than usual, I find it's helpful to explore why I might be feeling that way. For example, on Saturday, I was annoyed with my fiancé because we were late for an event. It didn't affect us in a negative way, because other friends were late and we didn't miss out on anything... but after exploring the issue further, I concluded that I was annoyed because there was a pattern of being late on my fiancé's part. Once I came to that realization, it was possible to discuss my frustrations, vs. just feeling annoyed.

You can't make people be less annoying, but you CAN explore why you feel annoyed, and you CAN address the things that exacerbate those feelings. =) Good luck!
