Anybody ever have trouble speaking? - May 19th 2017, 07:54 AM

First of all I'm great at typing online I always know what I want to say. But in person I have trouble sometimes. Sometimes when I'm asked a simple question I won't know how to respond. Sometimes my mind just goes blank and I can't think of the word I want to say. Sometimes i stutter but it isn't that bad. I'm just wondering if anyone else has these problems or any possible solutions too then. I'm super tired right now or else I would have added a lot more detail to it.

Totally! I have often said that I wish I could be more like my online self as I feel that it's a true depiction of who I am etc., but in reality I am quiet and when I get anxious, my mind goes blank, I stumble on my words, and when I think of things to say I debate whether to say them or not and most of the time I decide against it. Online is easier because you can sit and think about things (although admittedly I have been anxious about talking on forums and chat rooms in the past) and it may feel more comfortable.

But the point is, you aren't alone in dealing with this. I think the best way to deal with this, is to perhaps try to be more social in person as it may get easier the more you practice.

In my case its word salad. It's always fun making your self look like an idiot in front of your peers.

he couldn't believe how easy it was
he put the gun into his face
bang!
(so much blood from such a tiny little hole)

problems have solutions
a lifetime of fucking things up fixed in one determined flash

everything's blue
in this world
the deepest shade of mushroom blue
all fuzzy
spilling out of my head
