Contradictory diagnosis - June 21st 2017, 02:50 AM

So I got a few new diagnosis and I'm a bit confused about this one part. The answer will probably be to talk to my psychiatrist which j suppose I will in about a month she I'm due to a follow up.

One of the diagnosis is MDD
Another one is BAD II and another statement a line down is R/O BAD II
Now I looked up R/O and that means rule out. So how is it that it have BAD II bug also dont? And where does the MDD come in?

I'm completely guessing and the best person to ask would be the professional who wrote it up, but my guess is that they were considering BAD II, but have ruled it out and have changed it to MDD instead or that they have you currently diagnosed with both, but want to continue to watch and see if they can rule BAD II out.

The second one you said definitely makes. Also she mentioned to me in person that she chose an antidepressant that supposedly is less likely to get me into mania and also prescribed anti mania. I guess I will have to ask her next time.

Thank you
