New revelation (ish... Not really) - July 18th 2017, 12:12 AM

Hiiiiii.
So I took some screenings and apparently I'm severely depressed and I have severe anxiety. It also said that I am close and at great risk for an eating disorder since I have some anorexic behaviors. So I fall generally into eating disorders but not exactly anorexia so there's that too. I'm not surprised. I guess I always knew that. Anyways just telling you guys cause you've been a big part in my plan of recovery. PM me if you need to talk. Sending lots of love to all of you!

Were these screenings with a professional? If not, I'd definitely recommend speaking to one about this as it's not always as clear cut and they can help you plan your road to recovery even more. Either way, it's nice to hear you so optimistic about your journey forward and I'm glad TH and the members here have been able to help motivate you towards your future. Remember that no matter what you can always reach back out again! You're such a positive member of this community and I honestly love seeing your posts because of this, but it's ok to need support as well as to offer your own. You're a really strong person and I know that whetever comes your way, you can get through this. Keep your chin up, yeah?

Thanks for your kind words! They were screenings by the national department of mental health so I think they're accurate.

It's great that you have taken the first step in recognising that there are things you struggle with and have checked out some screening tools for more information. I'm wondering that now you have realised what you may be struggling with, what you plan to do next? Perhaps you can talk with a doctor or a counsellor about what your symptoms and that you are concerned about possibly having severe depression, anxiety and disordered eating?

Whatever you decide to do, TeenHelp will always be here for you to help you with recovery
