I'm so tired. - January 25th 2018, 04:31 PM

I feel like I'm going to pass out, I'm really tired and I can't afford to take a break with my situation... I'm trying really hard to be happy. My anxiety has also made me a bit shaky and I have other mental issues. But I'm so tired that I feel like throwing up or passing out just sitting... I go to school (im in all advanced and honors classes, however the pace is still kinda slow for me so i avoid homework often) then immediately after do to work or any practices or meeting I need to go to then I get home between 8pm-10pm and I shower and such then imedietly head to bed and wake up at 6am-7:25am. I'm not sure how to handle it but... I'm really tired.

On a positive note: my mom signed the papers so I'll be able to have a great senior year and it'll give me a better chance for college.

Hey there,

I'm wondering why you are trying really hard to be happy? You can't force yourself to be happy, and pretending to be happy means hiding how you really feel. Others may assume that you are happy, which may make you feel more isolated.

You have a very busy schedule! I think anyone would feel super tired getting up early, going to school, doing other things meaning you get back late, and then go to bed. It sounds like there isn't any time for you to just relax or enjoy things. I'm wondering if there is any way you could make time for this? Self-care is really important, and without it, you can end up feeling pretty burnt out.

It's good that your mom signed the papers and that you'll have a great senior year. Does your mom know how you feel about things? If she doesn't, it's worth opening up to her and letting her know how stressed and tired you are. She may not know how you feel, especially if you have been pretending to be happy. It's great that you are doing well in school, but it is possible to do too much, and that isn't good for your health and wellbeing.

Try to avoid the negative thoughts which led to anxiety.
