I think you hit the nail on the head when you said these episodes happen when you're feeling bad or stressed. It would make sense that painkillers don't work on something that's probably psychological in nature. The mind and gut are actually really connected so what you describe is not at all surprising. Instead of looking for a physical diagnosis I would be looking into ways to reduce stress in your life and to cope with stress when it occurs. Hopefully these will stop your stomach aches. Be sure, too, to drink plenty of water, just to keep your body hydrated and functioning.

Good luck and PM me if you need anything.

As Jordan said, our mind and gut are very well connected. I have struggled with anxiety for years and whenever I feel it building up, my stomach begins to hurt. I suggest finding and practicing safe coping methods, such as deep breathing. I like to believe that when I take a deep breath it and force it out roughly, that it's also releasing all the nasty tension in the bottom of my gut. It's up to you to do count ups and count downs; I alwaqys go for four or five, depends on how much tension I feel in my guts.

Find what works for you.

Best of luck!

Thank you both so much for your reply
I’m working on controlling my anxiety.
It’s just hard to be in pain most of the day.
But I’m working on getting better!

I had stomach pain for years. Recently found out that I was lactose intolerant and that the lattes were making me feel bad every morning. Simple things like removing a food source could help.
