I'd suggest a web search, especially for any negative side effects to watch for.

Hi there, Jenny.

First of all, well done on getting some help for your depression - that's really great and you should be proud of yourself for getting help
If you have any questions about your medication, you should talk to your psychiatrist or pharmacist about your medication.
As Dream has already stated, if you use a search engine, you can get some great website results which tell you all about imipramine, e.g.

imipramine - Depression Symptoms, Causes, and Treatments Including Clinical and Manic Depression on MedicineNet.com
Tofranil (Imipramine) Drug Information: Uses, Side Effects, Drug Interactions and Warnings at RxList

As the links I've provided above can give you a lot of information and google can give you even more, I'm going to close this thread now
If you have any more specific questions about Imipramine, please feel free to PM me and i'll reopen the thread.
