Question How I can help MYSELF? - October 12th 2009, 07:46 PM

I don't know what the hell the last post was, I just let everything out, which I probably shouldn't have done as it made no sense - not even to me.

The thing is I'm sick to death of being this hormonal, the lack of energy then becoming the annoying hyper one the next week.

I'm starting to worry it's more than hormones because of various conditions running in the family, the thing is I want to tell a doctor but my parents are oblivious / turning a blind eye to all this and they won't keep it confidential. Same goes with teachers at school. I have no one who can help me but keep it a secret so I can help myself cheer myself up , stop being so ridiculously melodramatic and over analysing everything I feel?

I just want to enjoy my cheerful life.

hey, i know how you feel. it used to bother me alot, the whole not knowing how im going to feel thing, but i think what helped me the most, and still does, is "going with the flow". thats the advice i was given, and it does work. basically accept how you feel, dont analyse it too much, just feel how you wanna feel, then it cant bother you. i do suggest you get help, but sounds as if you are a bit stuck at the moment,, so in the meantime why not enjoy the cheerful life you say you have

Thank-you, I know I'm an awkward bugger to give advice to. It is kind of you to have given my post the time of the day.

I do feel 'better' at the moment and I do need to stop being so over-analytical. Everyone always tells me that.

Thanks for the guidance and I will try to 'go with the flow' , I do try , it's just when I wrote this I felt more extreme than normal and I just wasn't in the right frame of mind to be saying anything that made any sense.
