Psychiatric Hospital - January 13th 2010, 02:32 AM

So latly i ahve been thinking maybe it might be good to go back to a psychiatric hospital for some of the thoughts and other things that have been happinging to me the thing is I just got a new therapist TODAY and I am not sure how to go about saying that i THINK it might be a good idea so i was just looking on some sugestions maybe?

Just bring it up with your therapist. unfortunately just blurting it out might be the best way to bring it up.

just tell the new therapist you don't think you can trust yourself and think it'd be a good idea to be where people knew how to handle it.

Hey there.

Im really sorry to hear you are feeling this way. Ive been in a pysh unit before, so i know how it feels. You need to tell you're thearapist what's going on, and how you really feel. You should tell her that you are having thoughts about going back into hospital too because you feel you need it. However, she will be the person who will take this futher, and will only do so if she feels it is what is going to work for you. Its really great that you know you need help and this is such a big step to take, and you're doing so well, so keep on fighting dear.
